i realised i haven't been doing a proper update.
heh heh.
cos i'm kinda busy lately.
and still, this won't be a proper update either.
this is going to be a super random update.

i have been going to the WET market lately(starting mid Feb).
because i've been starting to cook at home.
as i'm super sick of all those packed foods!

'warteg, nasi uduk, McD, A&W, nasi padang, sate padang, nasi goreng...'

still learning and testing new recipes.
thanks to Sharon for all the helps and recipes too!
because all i know is eat.
never would i thought i would want to start learning how to cook.
and what's worst is that...
i've got problem with estimating.
sometimes the food would taste salty.
sometimes the food would taste bland.
i'm so thankful to have sayank there to help me as well.
(he likes to use whatever seasonings/ingredients we have to cook.
but, it turns out great too!)

more healthy foods.
less MSGs.

the boy, as you can see from the pictures..
he is getting bigger and bigger.

his recent progress..
start throwing things FAR.
throw tantrums. (cry and cry and cry lying on the floor and don't want to get up)
singsong (in his language) and clap hands at the same time. (making sure we sit down and clap hands together with him)
ask for pacifier and bolster when he want to sleep.

did i mention that, when the boy went to school and play sand.
the sands are damp.
when the boy touches the damp sand, he will straight away stop playing and go to the basin and wash his hands.
i think he inherited from me.
hehe.

the boy started going to school again.
and yes, he still whines and cries whenever we left him alone with suster.
so, i have to accompany him.

my allergies start again whenever i accompany him to school.
and i'll end up being like a monkey.
*scratching here and there*
and now, there rashes on my hands and legs.
*grrr!*

the boy is getting naughtier and smarter.
- he know what's right and what's wrong. knowing that we will get angry but still continuing doing the wrong thing.
- he know how to identify 2 pacifiers with exact colour except that the picture is of different colour.
(we gave him 2 pacifiers. and he look at it, turn and look at the picture, throw away the old one, open the cover and stuff the new one into his mouth.)

more updates about the boy soon.
will try to upload pictures too.

we have already watched all the movies that are 'now playing'.
(including local movies)
and some of the 'coming soon'.
so we had been watching Knight Rider series.

watched Confessions of a Shopaholic.
my favourite novel.
and we have a set of Sophie Kinsella's book back in Singapore.

i feel like reading them once again..

the boy is down with flu for more than a week now.
when he is about to recover from his flu, here comes the cough.
when will he fully recover so he can go to school..?

he has yet to go for his 18th months immunisation.

the boy missed his first day of school on Tuesday.
having slight flu.
so decided to let him miss the class as to not let him affect the other kids and also he can have better rest before he go for the next class on Thursday.

i hope he can get well soon or get better by today so he can attend his class tomorrow.

went for movie at Mal Puri Indah last night.
(my first visit to the mall)
watched PUSH.
a very nice and well-planned movie.
good storyline and i think its one of the best 'supernatural' movie i've watched.
thumbs'up!

want to bring the boy there when he get better.
the arcade and rides's area is very big.

like what i mentioned in the previous post, we went shopping at TA.
first, we had crepes and HOP HOP bubble tea.
and then had Old Chang Kee fish balls.
(super fattening day!)

went shopping around.
brought Jayden to timezone.
and then headed over to Metro to buy the boy a school bag and also a few tops.
very happy bcos SALES everywhere!
so i bought the boy 3 Osh Kosh tops for S$ 25!
1 cool kids top for S$ 7!
and a Doraemon school bag S$ 16!
which is about S$ 48 for 5 items!

oh! while i'm typing this, i just remember!!!
we forgot to ask the boy to try on the ADIDAS shoe!
ohmygod!
how forgetful i am!
the shoe is so cheap too!
*smack head!*

anyway, we brought the boy back to timezone because he still cannot keep quiet when we are doing shopping for him.
stayed in timezone for more than 30mins but he still doesn't want to go home..

on the way home, the boy cannot keep quiet.
maybe he's tired, so became very cranky in the car.

very tiring day!
bcos we woke up early for little Jayden's school and then went out after that.
plus the traffic jams which made the journey so damn long.
HATE the traffic here!

Thursday..

little Jayden went to Ladybird for a trial.
school was recommended by one of sayank's relative.

he had fun in school.
playing and learning new things.
and also making new friends.

i accompanied the boy in school while the babysitter waited outside the school.
the boy went to shake hands and hug a little girl in his class.

first language is English.
twice/per week.
Tuesday and Thursday.
and Saturday we can bring him in for free if we want to.

we enrolled the little boy for march class.

Yesterday..

the little boy called me 'maMI'.
i was shocked.
because usually he will call me 'maMA' instead of 'maMI'.
tried to make him call that again..
but he refused.

just now, we brought the boy to school for Saturday class.
he was abit restless and sleepy.
whine and make a little fuss in school.

babysitter stayed behind and accompanied the boy while sayank and i went for western breakfast at Bread n Breakfast.
wanted to go to the market to buy some veg and fish for the boy.
but its too crowded and also we didn't have much time left as we need to hurry back to fetch the boy from school.
we brought Jayden back home about 10mins before the dismissal time as he was sleepy(crying).

he ate 6 small chocolate waffles in school today.
was given 2 first.
and he asked for more.
so, the staff gave him 2 more.
after eating, he asked for another 2.
after everyone's done with their snack time and proceed to play.
the boy still wanted to have more waffles.

when he knows that someone's angry with him, he will go and melts that person by hugging or giving the 'SORRY' look, and then give a big smile on his face
a very happy boy, loves to SMILE
like it very much when people play with him

Day 14 - last day

DAY 14

mummy wants to buy a new bag.
so we went town and shop around.

but before we went shopping, we headed to Wisma food republic for so nibbling.
walked over to Takashimaya and Paragon.
didn't saw the one she likes.

but i found something that i like.
hehe.

i like a gucci bag in black.
but Singapore didn't carry the design in black.

after window shopping, we went to HCI to fetch kevin after his basketball training.
home for dinner after that.

went Paragon again.
bought a Burberry bag.
sisters and mum share it for my 21st.

had Old Chang Kee and then headed to East Coast Park for dinner.
SEAFOOD at Jumbo.
parents, us, Janice, Kevin, Sharon & bf, Ivy & bf.
total bill = over S$800!

DAY 16 / LAST DAY

woke up, went to airport and check in, had breakfast and then board the plane.
little Jayden slept throughout the journey.

he is very sad when we were queueing to get our passport stamped in Singapore.
when we in the plane, he kept looking around.
like as if he is looking for my parents and siblings to play with him.
so poor thing.
i think he know we are leaving Singapore and going back to Indonesia.
so he very sad.

Day 10 - 14

DAY 10

today's the last day of CNY.
we had reunion dinner plus celebrate Sharon's birthday in advance.
we had Shark Fins for dinner!
yum..

DAY 11

sayank went to help his mum do some stuffs at Holland V again.
and then went to visit his mum at the hospital.

and i totally forgot what i did for the day.

DAY 12

had breakfast with mummy at Tebban hawker centre.

went Tanjong Pagar eat ah bui's chicken rice in the noon.
then went Chinatown under ah bui's block to cut hair.
Jayden and i had a hair cut.

went Orchard as ah bui wanted to get a wallet.
but never get any in the end.

headed back home, change car and also fetch Janice and Kevin for dinner.
had West Coast Korean BBQ.

lots of after meal, gossiping and catching up.

we waited for mum to get home and bring us go shopping.
bought some clothes and then went to fetch Kevin at his school, HCI.
after fetching Kevin, we stopped by Holland V as sayank wanted to help his mum do some stuffs again.

headed back home and had dinner.
my 3rd dinner with dad ever since i came back.

dad is always not home.
either golf-ing, busy with work, dinner, meeting friends or blah blah blah.
so irritating!

anyway, ah bui bought us durians!
my favourite!

we went to the ZOO!
woke up early.
prepared. waited. reached.

ate KFC Whipped Potato!
i love whipped potato.
but Indonesia KFC don't have.
after buying tickets, we went around the zoo.
little Jayden was so happy and amazed.
i think he enjoyed the whole trip.
and when we decided to go home, he fall asleep just went we were about to reach the exit.
we ate KFC for lunch.

home after that.

rest.
prepare.

and we (parents, ivy, janice, kevin, ah bui and us) went VivoCity Dian Xiao Er for dinner.
the food not very nice.
i don't like.

after that, we went shopping around.
bought my BodyShop stuffs.
and home sweet home.

we had mcdonald breakfast!

sayank went to NUH to visit MIL in the morning after he put little Jayden to bed for his morning nap.
and in the noon, we went to Cineleisure.
had Yong Tau Foo for lunch.
yum~

walked to Wisma for some shopping.
got 2 tank tops and 2 cardigans.
one black, one grey respectively.
only S$40!
cheap cheap.

ah bui came and fetch us for dinner.
near Carpenter street for Bak Kut Teh.
home after that.

DAY 3

little Jayden's first time to ORCHARD!

Ivy, sayank, little Jayden and i took cab from home to Shaw (Lido).
on the way there, little Jayden fall asleep.
-_-" at home don't want to sleep.
sleep when we are on our way out.

anyway, we alight the cab and went up to TCC for some coffee & cake while little Jayden are still sleeping.
little Jayden woke up, so we fed him his porridge and then went walking around.

walked to Takashimaya and went up to the toys departmental stores.
yiyi Ivy bought little Jayden Thomas and Friends train set, piano keyboard and crocodile.
(oh! the day before, David bought little Jayden Lego too!)
little Jayden got alot of new toys!
(po po (my mum) bought him 2 boxes of toys too!)
so many toys!!!

anyway, we got tired from shopping and chasing after little Jayden.
so we went for early dinner with ah bui.
and back home after that.

little Jayden is so happy today.
he can walk, run, jump and scream around today.

at the toys department, he get so excited and went round and round and round.
he want us to buy him CARS.
(he love cars!)
but in the end we bought him train.
hehe.

DAY 4

mum sent us to NUH to visit MIL.
when we were about to reach, little Jayden fall asleep.
(little Jayden slept for about 45mins)
we stayed at the hospital for about 1 hour.

left to Shaw Centre Subway as we were meeting Ivy and David there.
i missed eating Subway!
yummy-licious!

after eating, we head over to Bugis Junction.
walk aimlessly around.
Janice came.

sayank bought a Swatch watch!
i like the watch.
hehe.
i am going to borrow from sayank next time.

had dinner after that with ah bui and friend.
then home after that.

woke up early and left to my paternal grandfather place for late CNY visiting.
then head over to maternal grandfather place.
home after that.

very very tired!

HOME SWEET HOME

BACK TO SINGAPORE..

DAY 1

HELLO SINGAPORE!
we landed Singapore 4 mins earlier.
but mum, dad, Janice and Kevin were more than half an hour late.
bcos Janice told my parents that we are landing at 12.50pm instead of 12.25pm.
anyway, we had lots of photo-ing at the airport.
walked over to T3 for some groceries shopping and lunch at the food court.

first Singapore food - CHICKEN RICE!
mum cooked fish porridge for Jayden.

went NUH after that to visit MIL.
back home after that.

little Jayden never sleep for the whole day.
only on the plane.
and slept at about 8+pm last night.
naughty boy!

and he didn't have appetite at all for the whole day.
=(

DAY 2

its Ren Ri (7th day of CNY).
so we had our usual 7 dishes for lunch.
Hum Cha. YUM!
invited some relatives over.
(so they will stop saying that i never bring Jayden back)

they stayed till at night.
and David(Pocong) came over and visit us too.
=D
nice seeing old friends.

Jayden never have naps for the whole day.
slept at about 8pm last night too.
hais.

and he didn't have appetite for the whole day as well.
=(
only when Da Gu fed him that time then he ate his 8 spoonful of porridge.

we are going to TOWN!
bringing Jayden go walk walk.
and visiting MIL.

i've got my PASSPORT yesterday!!!

- passport (checked!)
- exit permit approved (checked!)
- tickets (checked!)
- MPWP (checked!)
- luggage (checked!)

now i just need to wait for boarding.

going back on Saturday 9.50am (INDO TIME).
back for at least 2 weeks.

cos i haven get a Singapore number yet.

at least i'm back on time for Ren Ri.
